Principal’s Message

Dear Parents

Welcome to Term 2. I hope that you all had the opportunity to enjoy some family time over the break. It was great to see all of the students with big smiles on their faces today.

On Monday, the staff spent time looking at the Australian Professional Standards for teachers. This was a very worthwhile day.

With the weather starting to turn cold, all students will be expected to be in their formal winter uniform by the end of Week 3 (Friday 12th May). Some students have already made the transition which is fine. Requirements for uniforms etc are available on our website. Please take the time to look at these.

We welcome to our school community Nicholas 5P and James 3T Wilkinson and their family. We hope your time with us is enjoyable and rewarding.

Thank you to those families who were able to support the Anzac Day March yesterday. Whilst the weather was less than inviting, we had a remarkable turn up. Thanks to the staff who supported this as well. Thank you to Rory, Rosie, Cody and Amelia who spent some extra time in the rain to lay a wreath on behalf of St Patrick’s at the service after the march. Well done, you did an amazing job.

You can view our calendar for upcoming events here.

Further in the newsletter is information in relation to the Government Data Collection for Addresses. Please contact the office and lodge  your objection by Friday 12th May if you do not wish your details to be forwarded. Click here to view letter.

Have a great week. Take care and God bless.

Marie
