2016 has begun in earnest here at St Pat’s. The teachers are adjusting their Religious Education Programs to cater for the early start of Lent next week on Wednesday, 10th February.
The Year 1, Year 2 and Year 4 students will participate in an Ash Wednesday Liturgy in Mercy Hall at 10.30am. All parents are welcome to join us.
Year 5 & 6 will attend the Parish Mass at 10.30am and Year 3 will attend the 12noon Parish Mass.
As this is a day Kinder do not attend school, parents are still invited to bring your Kinder child to the Liturgy in the Mercy Hall at 10.30am.
Our Opening School Mass is on Tuesday, 23rd February at 10.30am. The investiture of our Student Council for 2016 will take place during this Mass. All welcome!
The staff participated in 2 hours of RE Prayer and Professional Learning last Wednesday morning focusing on the Jubilee Year of Mercy, The Liturgical Seasons and Shared Christian Praxis (a teaching methodology which will support us in effectively teaching RE this year).
