Yesterday the Stage 2 Mass was celebrated by our Year 3 & 4 children and the Year 5 children received the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Next Tuesday all children in Kinder, Year 1 & 2 will celebrate Mass at 10.30am. All families are welcome at this Eucharistic Liturgy.

In last Sunday’s Gospel (Mark 13:24-32) Jesus said, “In the last days, the sun will darken, the moon will lose its brightness, the stars will fall from heaven and the powers in the heavens will be shaken. Then the Son of Man will appear, coming in the clouds with great power and glory. He will send the angels out to all corners of the earth to gather God’s chosen people.”

Jesus said,

‘Beware, keep alert; for you do not know when the time will come’. (Mark 13: 33)

What would you do for others today if you thought you would not have another chance to do it?                                          

When have you found God helping you out when part of your world seemed to be falling apart?

Prayer

God, we know we shouldn’t be afraid, but sometimes we are – afraid of what the future might hold and whether we will have the strength to meet it. Thank you for the assurance that whatever we may face, you will be there beside us. Teach us to trust you more completely and so to step out in faith, confident that if we stumble you will set us on our feet and turn us in the right direction.
